Podcast Booking & Episode Calendar
Running a podcast can be an enjoyable and profitable experience but it isn't always easy. Some of the most difficult aspects of managing a podcast with only yourself or a small team is handling the episode's booking and keeping track of the episode schedule.
In January of 2022 I was fortunate enough to run a weekly podcast via Twitter Spaces with political candidates running for office. In total I connected with roughly 120 Democratic candidates. Every week multiple candidates would come on to introduce themselves to other candidates and be a part of a workshop designed to help them grow during the tumultuous 2022 political campaign.
One evening the event ran for six hours and over 20 candidates spoke.
I was able to book these politicians and keep track of and plan future weekly episodes using this Podcast Booking & Episode Calendar that I designed in Notion. This Notion template is a fully functional booking and episode/content calendar for podcasters.
This suite includes two databases: Guests and Shows.
- The Guests database is used to keep track of the guests appearances on the podcast.
- The Shows database keeps track of episodes and can be used as a private content calendar OR as a public listing of episodes.
This tool helped me tremendously when I was broadcasting regularly. I know that it can help you as well.
